This lace patterned sock was born while I was on vacation and couldn’t figure out which pattern would look best with the beautiful red yarn that I had with me. After playing around with it, this is what I came up with……..a toe-up approach to a lace instep with a fleegle (no holes) heel. The lace pattern is then carried throughout the leg/cuff of the sock.

While this was knit up as a medium, adjusting the size could be handled by changing the needle size.

Since we all have our preferences in yarn, any fingering/sock yarn should work with this pattern.

July 4, 2014: An error was found in the graph. Row 4, stitch 11 should have a “O”/yarnover. The pattern has been corrected as of this post.
