I designed this pretty lace scarf to specifically use only one ball of Qiviut or a qiviut blend yarn from Cottage Craft Angora. This yarn is so luxurious and yet so expensive I wanted to be able to knit up a luxury gift with just one ball and also fairly quickly for spur of the moment gifts. Any lace weight yarn will work but with the lovely halo from qiviut this will be pretty and warm. When once you start working this it has an easy repeat pattern so it can be made longer or shorter as desired. With the instructions given it takes exactly one ball of 162 yds with about 5 yds left over. Yarn can be purchased on line at cottagecraftangora.com
