Deceptively simple to knit, the Red Planet Socks combine ribs and cables of two different sizes to take simple socks a step beyond!

Size: Small (Large)

Foot Circumferences: 7 ¼” (8”) washed and unstretched

Gauge: 36st/4” on US 1 needles

Needles: (2) US 1 2.5 mm Circular Needles or needles to obtain gauge. (For a bit larger sock, adjust needle size to US 2s 3 mm)

Materials: Shown in HiKoo’s American Brand (80% Superwash Wool / 20% Nylon: 440 yards/100g) – Wash before you wind and start!

Yardage: Approximately 380 (420) yards of Fingering Weight (1 skein)

Notions: Cable Needle

Skill Level: Intermediate

Notes: There are 2 Cable Patterns, a Left Twist and a Right Twist. Work from the Left Twist pattern for one sock and work from the Right Twist for the second sock. The patterns are provided in both written and charted format!
