These patterns are for fun, reflective Halloween appliqués: a pumpkin and a Frankenstein. made with reflective yarn, these are perfect for decorating trick-or-treat bags for little ones. Feel free to personalize them to give them your own unique look.

I used Red Heart reflective yarn in Neon Green and Neon Orange, but you can substitute other bulky yarns if you don’t want them to be reflective. You will also need a small amount of worsted weight yarn for embellishments (I used black for the hair and eyes on Frankenstein and gray for the bolts). The base of each embellishment is made with a size J (6.0 mm) crochet hook. I used two smaller hooks (H and D) for the bolts and eyes, respectively.
