Summer is a great time to wear light cardigans. This cardigan is worked top down, first in a solid double crochet fabric, then in two lace sections at the bottom. This type of construction allows you to both adjust the length of the finished body and sleeves and try on the garment as you go.

Difficulty Easy

Finished Size 35 1/4 (38 1/2, 41 1/2, 44 3/4, 48)“ bust circumference. Sample shown measures 35 1/4”, modeled with 2 1/4” positive ease.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Alegría (distributed by Fairmount Fibers) (75% wool, 25% polyamide; 445 yd (407 m) / 3 1/2 oz (100 g); ): #2685 eggplant, 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) skeins.

Hook Size F/5 (3.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
