$3.00 from each pattern sale is donated to the Battle Mountain Humane Society, a true no kill shelter, currently caring for more than 110 dogs and 130 cats. The shelter resources are running scarringly low. The shelter dogs consume over 3000 lbs of food every month and this does not include kitty food or litter. In addition to needing funds for the basic care and operations of running a no kill shelter, the shelter is in need of an awning screen to help protect the outdoor area from the winter snows and summer heat.
