Crochet some adorable Reindeer baubles for your Christmas tree, or as little festive gifts!

I have used Chunky weight acrylic yarn and a 5mm and 4mm hook for my reindeer baubles.

Finished size (approx.):
Head = 2.5” in Diameter. Ear to ear = 4.5” in Width. Antlers to base = 4” in Height.

You can use any weight or type of yarn. Just use a hook 1 size smaller than recommended for the main reindeer pieces and a hook 2 sizes smaller for the antlers. This will change
the finished sizes.

As a guide, using Aran/Worsted weight yarn and a 4mm and 3mm hook will reduce all dimensions by approximately half an inch.

Gauge:
Exact gauge is not important. Use a hook 1 size smaller than recommended for your yarn to keep your stitches compact. Use a hook 2 sizes smaller for the antlers.

You will need:
Chunky/Bulky weight yarn in Beige (10yds), Light Brown (25yds), Dark Brown (5yds), Black (<1yd) and Red or Dark Brown for the nose (1yd).
5mm crochet hook for the reindeer pieces and 4mm hook for the antlers (or 1 and 2 sizes smaller than recommended for your chosen yarn),
Toy stuffing (polyester fiberfill),
3mm Ribbon (approx. 7” long),
Yarn needle,
Scissors.
