Yarn
Neighborhood Fiber Company - Studio Sock fingering weight; 100% Organic Merino wool; 400 yds/ 366 m per 4 oz/ 100 g skein; color: Canton (turquoise); 300(345, 420, 485) yds/ 275(315, 385, 445) m

Listed yardages are estimates based on pattern gauge and instructions. Varying gauge and/or customizations will change amount used.

Yarn Characteristics
Neighborhood Fiber Company’s Studio Sock is an 8-ply, 100% wool fingering weight yarn. Its 8 plies add the strength needed to withstand the wear and tear of socks. If substituting yarn select one with a blend of wool and nylon or 8 plies to make your socks last.

Gauge
36 sts x 48 rnds = 4 inches/ 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round blocked.

To extend the life of the socks this is a tight gauge not typical to most socks.

Suggested Needles
1 US 1/ 2.25 mm circular needle, 40 inches/ 100 cm or size required to meet gauge.

Notions
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch Markers (optional)
