Originally I designed this wrist warmers as a gift for my mother. She can not wear wool directly on the skin and therefore the 100% mercerised cotton of the Coquette Vintage Cotton was a natural choice for her gift.

Knitted in the round the Lace Repeat is, once practised, easy to follow. Careful with the thumb opening, it has to be worked in rows, not in rounds. The inside of the hand I designed with a simple stocking stitch. If you prefer to make them longer on the fingers just add another Lace Repeat before casting off. The final pattern looks like reinforcement bars, short called REO bars.
