Originally published through MagKnits, Reptilian is a scarf designed with a simple lace motif that I first worked in a shiny, reflective, snakeskin-like yarn, Katia Cindy, that has since been discontinued.

The pattern can be worked with any yarn on any sized needles.

As shown, Reptilian also uses 50 size 6 beads.

In February 2010, I reknit Reptilian in Habu Textiles soft wool and tiny black seed beads. It took 2 days and is heavenly soft… my sister (Other Weaverknits) and I agree that the pattern is actually more effective in this simple yarn. The updated PDF is now available for download!
