The Retro Roses Baby Blanket is a striped, textured baby blanket that uses the ever so simple Little Roses crochet stitch which looks really lovely in the Scheepjes Stonewashed marled yarn.

The stitch pattern works up fairly sturdy so this blanket could also, or alternatively, be used as a small play mat or change mat for a baby.

The finished size is approx. 50cm x 100cm but you can alter the size and or stripe width as you please. I provide the multiple for increasing/decreasing size with the pattern.

Each stripe uses just over half a 50g ball of yarn which annoyingly means you can’t get two stripes from one ball - you can of course amend your number of rows to accommodate this (oh I wish I had)

The pattern is free at www.potterandbloom.com and you can find a video tutorial for the stitch pattern here.
