This shawl is featuring a lovely striped and textured lace pattern, which is fully reversible.
It is modern & elegant, it is fun to make and easy to wear.
Reversa is a decorative accessory for your daily wardrobe as well as a shawl to keep you warm on a chilly summer evening.
It is a triangular, sideways bias knit, asymmetrical shawl with a curved top edge. The shawl can be made as a garter-lace-bands version or as an allover-lace version.
The pattern contains fully written out as well as charted instructions.
Designed for fingering weight yarn in solid/semisolid colourways. Allow approx. 500yds/460m to get the size of the sample. It is easily adjustable to the yardage you have available.
Yarn used for sample:
Wollmeise Sockenwolle 80/20 Twin (fingering weight, 150g = 510yds/466m), 1 skein in colourway Meilenstein on 4 mm/US 6 needles.
Size of sample:
length along top edge: approx. 192cm/75.5“
depth: approx. 48cm/19“
Is not critical for this project but differences will affect the required yardage and finished size.
Gauge on sample: 18 sts x 36 rows = 10x10cm/4x4“ in garter stitch after blocking.
I hope you’ll enjoy the pattern! :)
