From Knitting New Scarves:
Reversible is a simple, modernistic design that can be worn with either of its two colors on top. At first glance it appears to be unbalanced and asymmetrical, two-thirds of the scarf appearing to be just a single color. But the outline of the scarf does indeed have a symmetry, with identically shaped panels of the two colors overlapping to form mirrored collar lapels left and right.
