This a great scarf design because its beautiful on both sides! This is a fantastic way to to get your feet wet knitting cables for veterans or first timers! Cables are a blast to knit - they look so complicated when they’re done, but they’re so easy to do. Give it a try!

You will need: US#9 knitting needles, cable needle & markers. Yarn to achieve gauge: 4.75 sts = 1 inch over seed stitch. 360 yds of worsted/aran weight yarn were used to create a 7” wide & 66”long scarf (after blocking). Of course more yardage is needed if you want it wider or longer.
