This precious little hat has been designed for those helpless little babies that have no choice about being born during a New England winter.

This hat is knit out of 100% alpaca with a double thick, reversible layer to keep the wind from nipping at those little ears.

The outer hat is knit first, from the top down, then turned inside out and stitches are picked up and knit from the hem to the top of the inner hat. When you are done, there will be nothing to sew together or seam, just a few ends to weave in.

This pattern uses two skeins of Frog Tree Alpaca Sport in two different colors - one skein of each color.

You will need one set of 5 US 4 double-point needles for knitting in the round.
