The Reykr hat is a classic, simple ribbed beanie that is sure to please (and fit) anyone! I originally made it for my brother and asked him to name it. He chose Reykr, which is Norse for “smoke.” It makes a perfect gift since the sizing is very forgiving and the style is basic enough you’re hard pressed to find anyone who wouldn’t like it. Not a fan of slouch? Fold the brim up and it can be worn as a snug beanie instead. It’s gathered at the top, so there is minimal decreasing, making finishing very easy.

IMPORTANT NOTE :
The yarn weight and gauge are all suggestions based on the Woolfolk Far yarn. This pattern is highly customizable and easily altered for any head size, yarn weight, etc. How to do so is explained clearly in the instructions.
