Beautifully adorned with panels of cable and braid and framed by a flattering high collar, this cardigan, inspired by the elegant design of bygone eras, will be a favorite for all occasions.

Fronts and back are knit separately from the bottom up, with slight waist shaping, and seamed at the sides and shoulders. Sleeves are knit flat, seamed and set in. Collar bands are knit along with the fronts, seamed at the back neck and feature a rolled stockinette edge.

SIZES: XXS (XS, S, M)(L, XL, XXL).
Finished bust measurements: 32½ (36¼, 37¾, 41½)(45½, 48½, 51½)“.
Intended to be worn with 0-2” of ease. Fronts have a slight gap at center.

YARN: 1200 (1350, 1455, 1635)(1835, 1945, 2100) yds DK weight wool or wool blend. Shown in madelinetosh Tosh DK (100% superwash merino wool) - Oxblood.

NEEDLES: U.S. size 6 (4.0mm) straight or circular needles. Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge.

OTHER: Stitch holders, removable markers, tapestry needle, U.S. size 4 (3.5mm) crochet hook.

GAUGE: 21 sts/30 rows = 4” in stockinette, blocked.
20 sts = 4” in Seed Stitch, blocked.
24 sts = 3¼“ in Cable & Braid, blocked.
