The shawlette is worked side-to-side using short rows. The stitches for the edging are picked up along the bottom edge once the shawl is knit. This is a great pattern for learning short rows - or an easy pattern for using a self-striping yarn, resulting in a vertical stripe effect. For a larger shawl, use a slightly heavier yarn and larger needles.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go to Cast Off Chemo! to support the cancer research of Dr David Krag.
