This knitting pattern is for a cozy and comfortable mock rib knit shawl with a button closure. I designed this pattern to have something to wear in the evenings when I get a little chilled while working at my computer or watching TV and crocheting or knitting. The button closure helps keep the shawl on while I work on my latest project.

This pattern is knit with a simple acrylic yarn that I had in my stash. I had liked the colors which is why I bought it. The mock rib stitch used in this pattern showcases the yarn nicely, I think. It takes approx. 750 yards of #4 weight acrylic yarn to knit this shawl.

To knit this pattern you will need to know how to knit, purl, and slip stitches. This pattern is easy to knit and can be completed quickly - perfect for a gift.

The size needles used are US 10 - I used circular but you could use straight if you prefer.

The size for this pattern is one size and measures approx. 50 in. long (around) and 18.5 in. wide.

All items made from this pattern may be sold.
