I wanted a shorter leg warmer that fit more tightly for my black ankle boots, but I couldn’t find what i was looking for. So, I made my own pattern and am quite happy with how they turned out.
Vertical rubbing, and a smaller ribbing at the top with a nice bind off. These shorties were made for a small leg, about 11” circumference and 9” in length. This pattern is easily adapted for a larger sizes in multiples of 3.
