A basic Ribbed Toque, it’s a classic in knitting but crochet people have been trying to make an equivalent for a very long time. While it cannot be exactly the same as the knitted version, this crochet design comes very close. This pattern is not a rectangle which is then pulled tight at the top.

The sizes range from Baby 15 to 16 inches / 33 to 40.5 cm up to Adult X Large 25 to 26 inches / 63.5 to 66 cm. Please be aware that this pattern uses the thickness of yarn and size of crochet hook to create the different sizes due to the stitch restrictions. Lots of photos to guide you as well as a few illustrations. Level of experience is Intermediate.
