One Size Fits Most Youth/Adult – finished measurement is approximately 9″ x 11.5″ for small and 9” x 13” for large when folded. Finished size is very easily modified, as you can continue in the pattern for as many rows as you would like, there are also instructions on how to make the cowl wider.

This is a simple, no fuss color work design as you only hold one color at a time, which makes it very easy when changing colors, if it is your first time doing color work you will find this pattern to be a good one to start with.

For this pattern, I have converted the Ribbon Stitch to be knit in the round, and have created a small and large sized cowl. I decided to use a super fine yarn, and hold 2 strands at the same time so I could use a larger size needle. I very rarely use super fine yarn, but when I saw this yarn at the store I thought it might knit up nicely knit with 2 strands at once. The end result is something soft and light, which makes a perfect spring time cooler weather cowl.
