This is the “Riding the Rails Ribbed Infinity Scarf” crochet pattern for a cozy, warm and stretchy infinity scarf - perfect for cool evenings. And it goes great with its companion patterns, the Riding the Rails Ribbed Winter Hat and the Riding the Rails Ribbed Fingerless Mitts!

I created this pattern while designing a scarf for my cousin. I wanted something elegant and geometric that could be equally suited to a t-shirt and jeans or a wool coat. Perfect gift for any gender as its deceptively simple design can read either feminine or masculine, depending on how you pair it.

Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner

Stitches Used: Chain, Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet

Special Stitches (instructions included): Foundation Double Crochet, Invisible Seaming

This cowl/scarf is crocheted in the round, and a special invisible joining technique creates a subtle, straight seam. A photo tutorial for the invisible join is included.

Size: One-size-fits-all - This stretchy scarf can be wrapped 1-3 times, depending on your preference. Finished size is about 50” in circumference and 6” wide (unstretched).
