A great topper for a blouse or tee, this medium/large poncho has an optional fringe and is knit all in one piece. The waves happen by themselves and the fringe is almost automatic. Three skeins of Worsted Weight yarn will make your poncho one-of-a-kind. The front and back of the poncho are the same so you can wear it two different ways.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner or Intermediate

Skills Needed: Knitter must know how to cast on, knit, purl,
yarn over, knit 2 together and bind off.
Special bind off and cast on methods for the neck opening will be explained in the pattern.

Gauge is not terribly important. You want to knit a loose, flowing fabric.
