This shawl pattern is constructed in two pieces that are seamed together at the end, allowing for symmetrical leaf patterns at the edges, with a lace panel separating the two edges.

Pattern includes instructions for lace in chart format only, written instructions for charts in row-by-row basis are not included.

Pattern was designed and sample knit with sport weight yarn, yardage estimates are based on sport weight yarn. This pattern can also be worked with fingering weight yarn with little to no modifications - you will most likely only need to go down a needle size to keep fabric properties similar to what was intended in the pattern.

Gauge mentioned in pattern should be treated as a guideline only, as the exact measurements of the shawl are not crucial. Rely more on how the fabric feels to you - if it feels too airy, go down a needle size. If it feels too stiff, go up a needle size.

Pointers for modifications are included in the pattern, for those that may wish to change the length and width of various parts of the shawl.

Shawl on photos used just over nine balls of Drops Cotton Viscose, translating to approximately 1100 yards of yarn. This shawl measures 155 cm / 61” in length, 73 cm / 29” in width at the edges, 48 cm / 19” in width at lace panel.
