NOTES

  1. The Afghan is worked in one piece in two sections.
  2. Stitches for the second section are picked up from the first section.
  3. A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts. Work back and forth in rows on the circular needle, just as if working on straight needles.
  4. To make it easier to count your rows, mark the first row as a right side row. For every 2 rows you knit, one Garter ‘ridge’ will be completed. At the end of 100 rows, you should have 50 ridges and the last row you work will be on the wrong side.
