14 stitches and 19 rows = 2 inches
in St st (in the round) with smaller needles
US 2 - 2.75 mm
US 3 - 3.25 mm
350 - 525 yards (320 - 480 m)
Small Adult

Sizes - Child med/lge & Adult sm/med/lge

In these socks, 1/1 cables travel across knit-4 ribs, giving the appearance of 2/2 cables without the draw-in. All of the cables cross in the same direction in these socks, but you could work all right-leaning crosses on one sock (as shown {in the book}) and all left-leaning crosses on the other.
