Thread: Use either a triple strand of Knit-Cro-Sheen or a single strand of Speed-Cro-Sheen: use Six Strand Floss for the trim.

The pattern calls for one ball each of two different colors, but keep in mind that, at the time, the balls contained more yardage than they do today.

Additional Materials: 3 small snaps, round elastic

The “dress” is actually a top and skirt.

The skirt has elastic run through the stitches at the waist; the top closes with snaps; the coat is not intended to be fastened.

The top and coat are knit top-down, the skirt is knit bottom-up.

The pattern says this is for an 11-inch doll, but it does fit an 11.5” Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. Check the fit as you go for other varieties of doll.
