Designed for Nellie’s Never Enough Socks Club by Portland’s own Kristin Spurkland, to commemorate the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver BC. A series of 5 rings run down the back of the leg and heel, with a gorgeous mistaken rib pattern gracing the top. Kristen adds her signature touch, taking the rib and rings pattern the full length of the sock. Rings is a simple, yet elegant pattern.

Difficulty level - easy
Materials required:
100 grams / approximately 400 yards fingering weight yarn
US 1 40 inch needle

Note on sizing: Smaller socks can be made by knitting the pattern on a size 1 needle, and shortening the length of the foot. Larger socks can be made by knitting on a size 3 needle, or adding some sts to the instep (ribbed) portion of the sock.
