Simple knits, purls, and make-ones are all you need to create this lovely shawl that can be worn backwards as a cowl. This piece was knitted in sock weight yarn in a gauge of 5 sts = 1” on a size 6 needle. You can certainly knit it in a heavier yarn for a bigger shawl. There’s an optional Fancy Edging for the more adventurous knitter, too.

Materials

Yarn: 10 mini skeins @70 yd sock yarn - 8 colors, including 3 sk of main color (MC), and
one ea of all the rest) plus 2 spools sequins or beads if desired

Needle: 29” or 32” circular #6

I also recommend a magnetic board to mark your rows and help you keep your place.
