Here are two patterns that are easy to knit. Both designs are created by using only knit and purl stitches. The Novice Knitter who is ready to expand their skills to reading and following pattern instructions and charts should do well with these.

These are also a very good small, take along project. Knit the set, tie with a pretty ribbon, and give as a gift!

Both are knitted flat. These instructions produce a tighter, more durable fabric. Both cloths have written instructions and charts.

Most Texas Knit ‘Em patterns are named for some place in the U.S. State of Texas. McAllen is a city in South Texas, located immediately north of the Rio Grande River, which is the border between the United States and Mexico.
