Riparian means “of the riverbank”. You’ll find entertainment in knitting this flowing lace pattern that ripples like water coursing through a river. Banked on each side by columns of seed stitch, the cowl pattern is adaptable to any yarn, quantity of yarn, or your desired dimensions. One simple alteration to this pattern would be to leave out two repeats of the pattern width to make a narrower version that can be worn as a scarf.

The BaH Yarns Gradient Sock Sets contain 2 identical - 50 grams skeins of sock yarn. The pair of skeins begin with a soft hint of the color and deepen in intensity to a saturated point, perfect for making identical gradient socks, or in this case a cowl where the colors are mirror imaged.
