29 Feb 12 - I updated the pattern to include a fingering/sock weight version.

This cowl was inspired by Indiogdragonfly’s colourway ‘The Earth Is Doomed’ – Giles in her Buffy the Vampire Slayer line of colours. I thought that the combination of cables and dropped stitches was a good reflection of Giles – a bit up-tight but falling apart at the same time. Of course, you don’t have to be a Buffy fan to enjoy the contrast.

The trick to having the dropped stitches running from top to bottom is in the cast on and cast off technique.
