This shawl is relatively easy to make, consisting primarily of the double crochet stitch. The final result is a very cozy, warm piece!

It’s easily adjustable to various sizes, depending on what you want. The piece pictured (purple variegated) was made with roughly 1400 yards of Red Heart Boutique’s “Unforgettable” worsted weight yarn. I also made it wider then the original pattern, starting with a chain of 70 instead of 55, to accommodate my larger frame.

The original piece was found as a half completed project in a thrift shop. I was unable to locate a pattern for it, so I decided to create one. This pattern is the result.
