This pattern was inspired by sitting next to the Cornish sea watching little rippling waves of turquoise sea washing in and out over the golden sands. Bliss.
I created it to have rippling textured garter stitch waves and sections of yarn overs to look like the little bubbles on the waves.

The pattern includes instructions for a shawl with beaded picot edging, a baby blanket and a cowl

The width and length of the any of the items is easily adjusted so that you can make a your shawl blanket or cowl any size you like although of course yarn requirements will vary.
