Notes from the Designer:

Combine this boxy, drop shoulder design with the silky softness of SeaCoast Fingering cotton blend yarn for a sweater that will surely become a favorite. With so many ways to customize this sweater, you can truly make it your own.

Without side shaping, altering the length is simple. Adjust the sleeves to what is most comfortable to you, or eliminate them altogether for a sleeveless top. Two interchangeable stitch patterns allow you to decide where you would like to insert the lace pattern. And, if lace isn’t to your liking, make it all solid!

Pieces are knit separately and joined as you go. The remaining side and sleeve seams have clearly marked selvedge stitches that will help you create a professional looking finished seam.

  • Click here to watch a video on how to use fabric to make a mockup of a knit sweater, so your sweaters will fit every single time.
  • The length of the sweater may be customized by adjusting the number of repeats of R1 - R2 before marking for underarm. Remember to account for the difference in length between as knit and blocked. For this yarn, the as knit length is approximately 80% of the finished length. To customize the length, determine your desired length and multiply by 0.8 to determine the as knit length.
