Completely reversible, and two layers thick,these hats are very cushy and comfortable to wear -not to mention warm.

Instructions are given for two gauges! Use chunky yarn or worsted. Chunky version has no border and 3 eagles. Worsted version has 4 eagles flying over the mountains.

You can even follow the chunky instructions and knit it loose with one strand of worsted… the choice is yours!

Pattern is written with colour charts and helps.

Per testing data:
small 18-20” circ (3yrs - teen)
medium 21-22” circ (avg adult)
large 23-24”

MEDIUM WORSTED WEIGHT used approx 124m/135yds per colour per testing data. Allow for more for size large.

14sts/20rows=4”/10cm using 5mm/8US needles in stockinette double knitting.
