A variety of cable patterns, twisted stitches and creatively hidden buttonholes create the beautiful canvas that is Rist Canyon. This pattern is at times challenging and always rewarding, just like the bike ride outside of my town that it is named for.

Skill Level: Advanced

Yarn: 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14) skeins Buachaille, 120 yards/110 meters

Gauge: 20 stitches and 36 rows over 4” in seed stitch, and 27 stitches and 36 rows over 4” in cable stitch

Sizes: 34.5 (38, 41.5, 45.5, 48.5, 53)”, intended to be worn with 2-3” positive ease (see note on ease).

Needles: US #4/3.5mm and US #5/3.75mm, 24” circular needles
