Rita is one of the blankets featured in “Into the West” crochet blanket book.
Rita is named after the famous Jamaican reggae star Bob Marley’s wife. The bright colourful rainbow reminded me of reggae colours but, despite pressure from my husband and a good friend of ours, I decided Bob was not a good name for a blanket J

Rita is a scrap blanket; to get the full impact of the colour changes you will need at least 14 different colours.

The blanket needs 1400 gms of 4 ply/fingering wool (360/400 metres per 100 gms).

Crochet hook in size 3mm, or size needed for your tension.

A tapestry needle for sewing in ends.
