Pattern is back! Sorry for the delay, but life just got in the way. Thanks for all the support and requests. Happy knitting…
When the first samples of the new Malabrigo Arroyo arrived last year, I knew immediately that I wanted to demonstrate how Sportweight is actually “sport-weight.” I wanted to work up a simple one-skein hat (those first skeins were only 50g) that my hubby could wear on his early morning runs by the Auckland Viaduct. What would a runner’s hat demand: lightweight and pocketable, supersoft against his skin, and washable – definitely washable. Arroyo’s got it all, plus the incredible colours that we have come to expect from Malabrigo Yarns.
The finished project is named after the mighty Mr Lee Ritenour who, with Dave Grusin, wrote one of my favourite jazz pieces: Early Morning Attitude (from the album Harlequin, released in 1984).
