This pattern is the kids’ version of Hollins Ferry, and is part of the Charm City Kids collection!

Originally fingerless, the kids’ version of this pattern has been rewritten as true mittens and is knit at a tighter gauge to make them warm and toasty for little fingers. Central cable panel is charted only.

Sizes: Toddler (Child S, Child L); 5 ½ (6, 6 ½)”/ 14 (15, 16 ½) cm hand circumference; 4 ½ (5, 5 ½)”/ 11 ½ (12 ½, 14) cm length from wrist to tip

Gauge: 32 sts and 40 rnds = 4”/10 cm in st st in the rnd, blocked

Yarn: Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash Fingering, 100% merino wool (450 yd/113 g): 1 skein in Cosmic Night
Or approximately 90 (130, 175) yd fingering weight yarn

Needles: Set US 2/3 mm DPNs, 2 24”/60 cm circular needles, or 1 long needle for magic loop; or size to obtain gauge
