„Rivendell“ - „Imladris“, the name of the Elven outpost in Tolkien’s „The Lord Of The Rings“ inspired me while designing and knitting this wonderful Shawl. It is a slightly asymmetrical Shawl with a romantic character. The leaf-edging makes it an absolutely eyecatcher.

The size is approx 145 x 70 cm (57 x 27.55 in) but it can be worked bigger or smaller as long as you mind the count of stitches in the pattern.

Needed Materials:

• approx 450 - 500 meters (490 - 546 yds) of laceweight to fingering weight yarn
• knitting needle size according to the chosen yarn
• stitch markers
• scissors
• sewing needle
• if needed kitchen scales

The pattern runs 7 pages and contains detailled charts and a written pattern.
