The River Scarf is worked back and forth on a 36”-47” circular needle. Gauge isn’t important for this project, but you do need at least a 36” needle to hold all the stitches comfortably in a size 13, 15 or 17. Only one skein of Butternut Woolens’ Thick ‘n Thin is needed, approximately 250 yds.
