level: intermediate

size: adult, smaller is 28” long and larger is 32” long

needles: size US 13 (9mm) short straight needles

yarn: two skeins held together as one of Kraemer Yarns Tatamy Tweed DK #3 Weight (makes Worsted Weight)

optional materials: 20 stitch markers (or scraps of contrast color yarn)

gauge: not crucial for non-fitted items; 2”x2” = 10 stitches x 13 rows in linen stitch

skills: know how to:
c/o – cast on
k – knit
p – purl
pm – place marker
k2tog – knit two stitches together
b/o – bind off
sl1k – slip one stitch knitwise with yarn in back
sl1p – slip one stitch purlwise with yarn in front
kfb – knit into front and then back of same stitch
