Riverfront was originally designed for the Progressive East End Project (PEEP) 2020 Mystery KAL.

Scott designed Riverfront to be a gender-neutral rectangular scarf. The pattern is accessible enough for an inexperienced knitter, and engaging to a more advanced knitter. You need to be able to do three things: knit, slip a stitch purlwise, and count (there are no pattern repeats in the entire design). You’ll need a US 4 (3.5 mm) 32” or 40” circular needle.

Malabrigo dyed the original mini-skeins for the event, using Sock in the colors Reflecting Pool, Dewberry, Water Green, Impressionist Sky, Solis, Cian. The main color shown here is Flavia, also in Sock. When you’re choosing your own colors, make sure that you choose something that makes your contrast colors pop; whether you choose a low- or high-contrast look is up to you.

This pattern a great stashbuster! To knit the pattern you’ll need app. 400 yds of fingering-weight yarn for the main color, and ~90 yds each of 6 contrast colors.
