Riverside is a seamless design worked in rows from the top down. The raglan lines are purled and run along the sides, which
creates a very flattering fit. The cardigan is not too long which makes it perfect to wear with high-waisted pants and skirts. The
reverse side of this cardigan looks pretty nice too. It can be decided after finishing Riverside which side to use. That is one of the
reasons why the button bands are made separately and then sewn on. Do not let these two seams scare you; they make the fronts
of the jacket a lot more stable and beautiful and are easy to do. The cardigan is designed with about 8 to 10 inches of positive
ease. The model wears the jacket with 10” positive ease. The purled side stripes have the effect of pulling the fabric in, which is very flattering.
This pattern is tech edited by tricotedit as well as test knitted.

I hope you enjoy making and wearing Riverside Cardigan.
