I am an impatient mother unless I’ve got something good stashed in the car; late practices, prolonged goodbyes, forgotten books and shoes; even flagmen and slow bank tellers are much easier to take if I’ve got something in my hands.

This scarf fits the bill perfectly; the linen stitch is easy to learn, and I love the way it makes a variegated yarn look woven. The silk content of the Staccato makes this nice to wear against the skin and gives it a lovely drape.
