Roads of Corsica Shawl
The roads of Corsica are long and winding. While traveling these roads, your eyes are filled with the amazing view of the numerous mountains and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Roads of Corsica is a shawl inspired by these three elements: a long reversible cable travels along the side of the shawl while the garter stitch and the mesh pattern alternates on its body, reminding the mountains and the waves of the sea. The resulting shawl is a reversible, asymmetrical triangle work in bias, and it is sure to impress, both by the simplicity in the knitting and the gorgeousness of the finished shawl. Two sizes are provided, the smaller size is meant to be made with one skein of fingering weight yarn and the larger shawl will use two skeins.
Difficulty: Advanced beginner - basic stitches (k, p, yo, k2tog), basic reversible cables (instructions provided).
Adaptable shawl: Two sizes are provided but the shawl can be made longer or shorter by making more or less repetitions of the stitch patterns.
