My friend oboegoddess left a beautiful skein of theflyingkettle LA Yarn Crawl Super Special, Bangalang as a -thank you for pet care- gift to me while she and her darling traveled.
While they headed west…I came up with this satisfying little wrap pattern.
Perfect to take along on a journey, or for just whenever you have a few knitting moments; the pattern is not too tricky or ho-hum and easily fits in a small project bag.
And it results in a great little wrap that stows in your travel bag whenever you aren’t wearing it.

1 skein fingering weight yarn of 400+ yards, shown here, in The Flying Kettle’s Caspertine - color way Bangalang
US6 or size needed to achieve gauge - although exact gauge is not critical, a looser gauge will require more yardage.
Gauge : 18 stitches + 24 rows = 4 inches in lace pattern when lightly blocked
Approximate Dimensions of this Wrap : 32” base x 42” length 50” angle after blocking
