Here is a thick, quick, and cuddly blanket sure to please your little one. Pattern includes instructions for four sizes: Carriage: 34” x 36” Crib: 39” x 41” Toddler: 45” x 60” Twin: 68” x 88”. The pattern is a series of stockinette circles on a garter background. Robbie is made with Size 11 US (8.0 mm) needles and Super Bulky yarn, such as Bernat’s Baby Blanket . However, in order to ensure a loose, stretchy cast on and bound off edge, Size 13 US (9.0 mm) are used. The smaller sizes are a great Beginner Knitter project because it uses only Knit and Purl sts. When the last tail is woven in, the blanket is finished! There are no pieces to sew together, or stitches to be picked up. Especially good for older babies and toddlers to drag around because there are no “holes” or “loops” to catch or snag.
